The Talents of Jimmy Fallon and Others
Stumbled upon this on Facebook. An a cappella performance with Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus, and the Roots Sing. Shows modern technology used for entertainment. Also it follows this A Cappella trend on youtube where one person can create their own band.

Re-blog
Check out my home girls blog page and this sweet article that she stumbled upon about the organization called Anonymous. I'm personally obsessed with this group. I follow them on twitter, tumblr, memes, anything having to do with them. One day I hope to join them and rule the world.

INVISIBLE CHILDREN; IT'S REAL.
InvisibleChildren
Above I have the link to the Facebook event for Appalachian State's Invisible Children clubs first screening for this year! I am heavily involved with the club, and am in line to take over as President. Our screening will be held October 23rd, 2013 starting at 8 pm located in I.G. Greer.
For those of you who do not know about Invisible Children I will give you a brief summary of what it is about:
Invisible Children started back in 2004 when three college graduates traveled to Uganda on a whim and stumbled upon a travesty. Children and women were walking for miles, carrying all their belongings, and sleeping in roads, bus stations, and anywhere they felt safe. These people were running away from the LRA (Lords Resistance Army) and it's leader Joseph Kony. It has been the mission of Invisible Children to save these children from becoming child soldiers, from women being raped and kidnapped, and from lives ending. Their mission is to make these horrors in Uganda and in South Sudan visible to the world. It is our right and duty to do whatever it takes to stop Joseph Kony and end a war that has been going on for over 20 years.
If you would like to be more involved with Invisible Children I encourage you to come and join our club! We meet every thursday at 7 pm in Newland Dorm. Or if you would like to involve yourself with the actual organization and donate then visit InvisibleChildrenhomepage where you can learn about the current mission #ZEROLRA.
